At the heart of our community
Ballygiblin National School is located in Gurteenaboul, Ballygiblin, Co. Cork, beside Ballygiblin GAA. Our strong community connections help make school a place of belonging.
Our teachers, Special Education Teachers and SNAs work closely together so that each child is supported socially, emotionally and academically. We value open communication and partnership with families.
Adjacent to the school is Súgradh Preschool, which provides preschool and after-school care and strengthens our links with families and the wider community.

Children explore, build, design, debate, collaborate and solve problems. We want pupils to leave with knowledge, confidence, curiosity and practical skills.

Technology with purpose
Interactive screens and shared iPads support learning and creativity. Our developing STEAM provision includes Learning Labs, VEX Robotics and carefully chosen digital tools.

Physical activity, music, creativity and wellbeing are woven through school life, supported by programmes including Active School, Green Schools and Health Promoting Schools.

Ballygiblin National School is a co-educational Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cloyne. We promote the full and balanced development of every child—spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically—and welcome and support children of every background and ability.
