Ballygiblin N.S. - Restorative Practice

Ballygiblin N.S. is a Restorative School.

A restorative school is one which takes a restorative approach to resolving conflict and preventing harm. Restorative approaches enable those who have been harmed to convey the impact of the harm to those responsible, and for those responsible to acknowledge this impact and take steps to put it right.

Our school adopted this approach in 2012 and it is the approach used in our Code of Behaviour (please see our policy section). More information about restorative practice can be found in the links below. Please contact us if you have further questions.
